These are relatively virtuous - a low fat version of banana muffins which were tasty but a little on the dry side:
Far less virtuous, but at least these muffins contain 3 bananas and sunflower oil instead of butter:
...and lastly, with no virtue but lots of yumminess, a victoria sponge crammed with strawberries and cream. Look how yellow the eggs have made the cake!
This last photo was taken on my phone as my camera batteries ran out - it's a little blurred but you get the idea, I'm sure!

Mmmm... lovely! :o)
ReplyDeleteWhat a yumminess of cakeyness Liz. That victoria sponge looks super delicious and yes what a fabulous colour!
ReplyDeleteHope your hens keep laying...for us to indulge in glorious calorie free digital cakes..... and I'm sure there'll be a less productive time for you to hold back on the baking...but until then...enjoy eating cake!!

OOoh that cake looks scrummy - pop it in a jiffy bag surrounded with bubble wrap and post it to me please - I don't mind if it is a bit sqwished. xx
ReplyDeleteIt's the weather! Grey, a bit cold and rainy, who wants salad? Those all look very yummy. I know what you mean with the egg situation! But they are just so much more scrummy in a cake than boiled or scrambled!
