Well, last night I did get a chance to make use of those needle felted leafy bits, which I used to make myself a little grey felt bag. It was fun to make, and I'm really pleased with how the pattern works against the grey background. I'm less pleased with how the strap has fused with the bag (a bit uneven), but I think a little needle felting and snipping here and there should sort that problem. Other than that, it needs a simple fastening and it's done!
I'd love to hear what you think of it - it's the first bag I've made for a while!
Thanks,
Liz
OOh Liz, its fabulous! Love the colours they all look so good together...and I'm itching to have a feel! The leaves are so full of colour and appear to be swaying slowly in the breeze. Glad you had fun making it too!
ReplyDeleteHope you will be making some more!!

ReplyDeletewonderful great colors
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful Liz! I love the colours and pattern. I've never made a bag all in felt. Closest I can to it was making a panel and attaching it to a little bag I made from tweed. I think you've made a great job of it. Thanks for visiting my blog today. Your comments mean a lot especially coming from a fellow felter : )
